From the savory taste of your mother's homemade beans to your grandmother's warm embrace, what feeds our stomach and souls defines who we are and who we strive to be. We believe we can see delightful food through the love people have for it and in turn we get to see the richness behind those people.
Founder, La Yaki, is grounded in her Hispanic roots and So-Cal vibrance. As a child, she was once called “The Preacher Lady” and prides herself on lifting up those around her anyway she can. By using Donuts y Tortas as a platform to combine her desire to inspire others and seek the richness of life - we'll promise you an authentic and real look at what helps define us all.
